Dr. Brian Weiss testimonial for Micki Dahne

A letter from Dr. Brian Weiss

Micki Dahne is certainly one of the most unusual and creative people I’ve ever known. She also holds a record: she’s the only person to have ever walked off my show. There is not a dull page in this book. Micki, I forgive you.

~Larry King, talk show host
(from The People Watcher’s Handbook by Micki Dahne)

Dear Micki: It was wonderful having you appear on our network again. As you will recall, the first time you were with us and we opened up the telephone lines to accept in-coming calls, you almost destroyed Southern Bell’s long distance service in a three-state area. By best count, before the equipment ceased to function, there were 85,000 telephone calls that were attempted, literally tying up all long distance service in South Carolina.

Well, once again to you helped us attract the largest audience we have had for some time. We have just gotten Nielsen’s July rating sweeps and up against a Barbara Walters Special, which received a 5 rating, your program had a 3. This was quite an achievement especially when you consider that we have never gotten higher than a 1 during that period and in recent months we have been Below Measurable Standards in that time slot, which simply means there was an insufficient audience to measure through the Nielsen system.

Thank you for attracting so many new viewers to South Carolina ETV and for the very wonderful response we have gotten from all who saw the program. We look forward to having you on the air again soon.

Henry J. Cauthen
President South Carolina Educational Television (1982)

It was a privilege to speak with you on Saturday. Even though it was by telephone, I felt as if I were with an old, dear friend who really knows and cares about me. The comfort you brought me is immeasurable. Thank you. ~Susan L.

Thanks Micki, you are a star! ~Irena

Micki you are amazing! The date is spot on and the 6 years is too. Thank you so much! ~Kris

Oh, Micki, thank you so much for your reply. Somehow, I knew that I could trust you. Your letter has given me the strength to let go…I trust you, and I’m going to leave him in the past. You’re a wonderful person, and I definitely look foward to a telephone reading in the near future!! Bless you, Micki!

Love, Danielle

Dear Micki: On my 2nd day of work at Parkway General Hospital in 1973, you were a patient and asked another employee for me, Angie. I went to your room on my break and you proceeded to give me unasked for advice as well as your predictions for my future. Not all of it was pleasant, but you felt you needed to let me know. Every last word of that unbelievable day has turned out to be true.

I have since moved from Miami to New Smyrna Beach. However, occasionally I visit friends and family in S. Florida. Do you do readings locally or just online or by phone. I would love to see you again. I’ve thought of you often. I have seen other “Psychics” and not one of them has come close to having your abilities, in my opinion.

Would enjoy hearing from you and hope you are well.

Fondly,
Angie Lowe

Dear Micki: Once in a blue moon a person meets someone that makes them feel warm all over and could swear they have known them and loved them their whole life. You are that person. I cannot express in words what a great pleasure it was to meet you and get to know you and bond with you. You have really changed my outlook on life. I feel alive again and thank you for that. You are a wonderful human being. I consider you my friend. Please consider me yours.

Love,
Leona

P.S. I will listen to you and unload the fish (the Pisces).

Dear Micki, I hope that you are well and wish I you a fantastic year ahead. You have been one of the most important people in my life and I want you to know how much I treasure you and appreciate all you have done to help me. YOU ARE THE BEST FRIEND ANYONE COULD HAVE. Mom died in March of 1999, six months after you alerted me to the burning in her chest. She had congestive heart failure but couldn’t communicate it to anyone. Thank you for letting me know about her problem so we could make it easier for her. You have made my life richer in so many ways, Micki. I love you and cherish our friendship. Thank you for being there all these years.

Love,
Bobby Stewart Mitchell

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your incredible reading on Saturday. You were right. Saggies don’t connect but after listening to your tape everything came together. Lots of love. ~Diane Friedman

Dear Micki : Although its been many many years now, I still vividly remember the brief conversation I was able to have with you one night on the radio when I lived in South Florida. To this day I can still recall your words quite clearly and I thank you very much for your insight. Thank you again. ~Ada P.

Dear Micki: First of all I want to thank you for changing my life. It was you who started the ball rolling on July 27th, I had an hour reading with you and you explained, “Bonnie, you’re a Taurus in a Leo State. You need to go west and get out of Pennsylvania.” I’m also writing you to ask how to figure out what sign a state is. Could you kindly tell me how I can figure that out? Many, many thanks and we miss you on radio in Philadelphia.

Sincerely,
Bonnie

Dear Micki: All the best to you in this beautiful year 2000. I thank God you were sent into my life. ~Michelle Visage / WKTU, NY

Dear Micki I turned on the radio in my car on August 1st at 8:35 a.m.and there you were on WKTU. I was so impressed with your gift and enjoyed listening to you. I was really excited to be able to jot down your number so that I could schedule an appointment. I look forward to your call and I am so thrilled to be able to be read by you.

Sincerely,

Dear Micki: You did an amazing reading for me. A little over a year ago and I can’t wait for the next one. Thank you, thank you. ~Tara Scalle

Dear Micki, I cannot thank you enough for being a part of our live telecast. We received a call from Southern Bell that over 20,000 phone calls were logged by their office. Four thousand calls were automatically cut off by the system. It could not handle the overload. We have to give them a weeks notice of your next live appearance!!!

Dear Micki: Wow! After a performance like that, what do we do for an encore. Cyanamid will never be able to find another guest speaker who can top your performance at our luncheons in Tucson, Arizona, and Mobile, Alabama. You had the wives of our customers sitting on the edge of their seats every moment and they were most reluctant to let you go.

Of course, I was well aware of your talents from my own personal experience — remember you told me, over the phone and without even meeting me, that I had something wrong with my left leg and it was serious but the problem really wasn’t the leg. You really shook me up and I went to the doctor and the rest is history. I was admitted to the hospital with a pulmonary embolism.

Our salesmen, regional managers and marketing managers are always receiving reports from their customers about you and how accurate you were in your analysis. As you predicted, the department manager of Industrial Products was promoted to Vice President of the division. The woman with the lump on her leg was operated on for a triple bypass. As she was going into the hospital she said to her husband, “Tell Mary Rita that Mick Dahne was right.”

I could go on forever, singling out the many instances where you were RIGHT ON. Needless to say everyone of our customers were most enthusiastic about you and Cyanamid’s Management was extremely happy. I hope you will forgive the throngs of people that surrounded you and I guess hounded you at the evening dinner dance. I had hoped that you would be able to relax, have a nice dinner, a few dances and enjoy yourself but the customers as well as Cyanamid people wouldn’t let you alone. I guess I could summarize by saying that you were an outstanding success. Many, many, people keep asking about you.

Thanks you so much on behalf of the AIRS-AVB Conference participants for the delightful program you presented during the Moonrise Beach Party last Thursday evening. You more than made up for the fact that the “full moon” never arrived. Your audience was so captivated by your insights that they hardly noticed its absence. Again, Micki, thank you for the special touch you gave to a very memorable evening.

Stephen A. Gunn
Conference Manager (1983)

Just a few words to express my sincere gratitude for all the help that you gave us, not only financially, but for the moral support and positive attitude. Also, please thank your charming daughter Jill, for all her time spent at the Miami Music Festival of the Arts. From all the less fortunate hemophiliac children, thank you so much.

Dear Ms. Dahne: We just wanted to thank you for taking the time to be our guest on People Will Talk. Your contribution was greatly appreciated.
